Arbion is an independently owned investment management and advisory firm, working with individuals and institutions worldwide. The team at Arbion take pride in the lifelong partnerships they have established with their clients, built on a foundation of unwavering commitment and truly independent, high calibre investment expertise. 

 

Arbion were seeking a new brand identity that would help them become a business success story, establishing a reputation as the UK’s foremost private investment office, with international reach as a major player in the industry.

 

With several demographics to appeal to, existing within a crowded market, the team at Arbion recognised the need for a trustworthy visual language, featuring just enough risk to distinguish them from their competitors without alienating their stakeholders. Our challenge was to find a unique aesthetic that would set Arbion apart as future industry leaders.

 

Arbion’s new personality carries itself with confidence and intelligence, cutting through the bluster of the marketplace with an emphasis on clarity, claiming authority through a combination of established wisdom and a cutting-edge aesthetic.

 

The rebranding of Arbion began with a new name, derived from the Latin word “arbor”, meaning tree. The name Arbion was chosen to ground the new brand in a sense of stability, drawing on the root system of an established grove of trees to capture the foundation of relationship the company builds with its clients - deep, strong and trust-worthy.

 

Arbion’s logomark is designed to subtly deviate from the norm, with the inner-stem of the A reflecting the internal angle of the N to form an arrow providing upward momentum. This angle was later applied throughout the website design as a repeating motif. 

 

A high-contrast palette collecting copper hues, leather-browns and succulent greens was chosen to strike a balance between well-established warmth and expensive precious metals. This palette was transformed into a living kaleidoscope of colour to greet visitors to the website, shifting subtly in response to the movements of a user’s cursor.
